Dear Melissa, The Misty Kingdom works well on grass, but it doesn't have to be set up on grass. Many people set their inflatables up indoors on soft carpet as well. You'll just want to make sure that you are properly anchoring your inflatable with weight anywhere that you cannot use the included anchoring stakes. We recommend at least one set of the optional sandbags, or if you are going to created your own anchors, use at least 25 lbs per corner. It is also important to never set your inflatable up on hard surfaces such as concrete. You need to worry about safety first and foremost, and the concrete can also damage the inflatable!
