Hi Lisa, If you hover over the little "i" icon or tap it next to the option on the product page, there are some details. Really you only need sand bags if you can't anchor the bouncer with the included stakes. Typically people buy these for use indoors, and they just tie to the loops on the corner of the bouncer.
