Blast Zone supports the American Red Cross in their relief efforts for those affected by Hurricane Maria. The humanitarian efforts of the Red Cross provide comfort and hope to so many during their times of need.
Hurricane Maria has caused unimaginable devastation to Puerto Rico and the surrounding area. We knew we had to help in anyway that we could. We were eager to donate and support the Red Cross in their efforts to provide food, shelter, and health services to those suffering the effects of this disaster.
While getting relief materials to the islands is difficult, The American Red Cross is working with federal, corporate and community partners to send supplies to the region by both sea and air.
According to the Red Cross, they will be deploying relief supplies such as water, rice, beans, ready-to-eat meals, cleanup kits, home repair kits, tarps, trash bags, insect repellent, hand sanitizer, work gloves and more. The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors. The Blast Zone family is committed to help in those efforts, and by making a designated donation we’re hoping to inspire others to help as well.
