Hi, you would need an extra 6' from the back for the blower, so 21' depth minimum. However, the bounce platform is nearly 2' off the ground, leaving approximately 5' only between the bounce floor and ceiling, so we would not recommend this configuration for safety purposes.

The sanbags themselves weigh less than one pound, but they can hold up to 25 pounds of sand per each bag. The sand is not included. The sandbags are designed for weighted anchoring, so that you can anchor your inflatable using weight whenever you are not able to utilize the included ground anchoring stakes, such as when the inflatable is being used indoors or on a patio.

Blast Zone Home Inflatables currently include a 1-year warranty and 2-year promise. Materials vary by component, and the "thickness" is not a common specification, as thickness of material has less to do with strength and durability than the quality of the mesh/weave in the material. The materials are all a mesh weave, coated in vinyl, and the vinyl itself provides little structural integrity. Think of pool toys, which, without the inner weave, have little strength and burst easily. However, backpack material is a strong weave and is typically very durable. Combine the two, and the backpack material portion is the most important. This is analogous to inflatable materials.

With that said, all Blast Zone impact components (Bounce Floors, Slides, Climbing Walls, etc) are Commercial Vinyl, and non-impact components are premium polyester oxford. Independent lab testing of a number of brands materials resulted in Blast Zone home materials testing at an average of 2x and up to 2.5x the tearing strength of other brands, and the commercial vinyl at up to 10.3x the strength of other brands using residential oxford in impact areas, which is a common practice.

This is an admin-managed module, and it appears your question was directed to previous buyers. But we can tell you it is worth it only if you need to use the inflatable more than 25' form a power source. We are not allowed to recommend extension cords because the UL testing is only done based on the installed cord. But we can say that amperage is lost using normal extension cords, so when extension cords are used they must be the heavy-duty, contractor grade style.

Laying a tarp underneath your inflatable is recommended to help protect your inflatable from both dirt and debris, but it is not a requirement for use and does not come included with this inflatable.

You can use your inflatable without a tarp, simply set it up in a patch of clean, grass that is clear of any sticks, rocks or debris.

As for storage, yes, it is important to put the inflatable away after each use. This is a part of the regular care instructions. Leaving it out may be easier, but leaving your inflatable exposed to the elements for extended periods between uses may result in damage.

If you will be setting your inflatable up indoors, away from regular foot traffic, such as in a play room, it is OK to simply deflate the inflatable until the next use. Otherwise it is best to deflate, fold, and store your inflatable in a cool, dry place while it is not in use.

Blast Zone instructional materials mention not to use inflatables in extreme weather conditions, or in extreme temperatures. For example, you wouldn’t want to use your inflatable in the event of precipitation, and you’d also want to avoid using your inflatable in low temperatures such as 40 degrees or below.

Even 50 degrees is still fairly cold. Even with this general recommendation provided, it is the adult’s responsibility to make the decision of whether or not it’s safe to go outside to play. The adult in charge should also pay extra attention to properly dressing kids for safe outdoor play in cooler temperatures as well.
