Hi Jessica, This is an admin-managed module, and it appears your question was directed to previous buyers. But we can tell you it is worth it only if you need to use the inflatable more than 25' form a power source. We are not allowed to recommend extension cords because the UL testing is only done based on the installed cord. But we can say that amperage is lost using normal extension cords, so when extension cords are used they must be the heavy-duty, contractor grade style. Hope this helps! Blast Zone Support
