Hi Elizabeth, This inflatable will hold approximately 6 inches of water before it begins to flow out over the top of the inflatable. We don't have an exact measurement on how much water this uses, but the sprayer systems only require a very low flow of water to activate the sprayers. I hope that helps! Sincerely, Blast Zone Support
